- Jack the Trailer up, so the wheel is off the ground.
- Remove wheel, Dust cap, split pin, nut and washer and put to the side.
- Remove the Hub,Drum or Disk from the Axle.
- Knock out the rear seal and large bearing.
- Knock or press out the inner cup from within the Hub.
- Place new cups in the Hub until they sit down onto the machined shoulder on both front and back sides.
- Pack the new Bearings with good high Temp Grease, ensuring that the grease penetrates into the rollers.
- Place the hub back onto the axle and replace the washer and nut.
- Adjust the nut until tight, back the nut off just enough to get the split pin into the nearest hole.
- Hub should be able to turn without any movement in the hub on the axle.
- Ensure the split pin is bent over to prevent the nut working loose.
- Replace dust cap and wheel.
